Project Spotlight: EmpowerED

Since January 2023, I have had the pleasure of being the Community Strategist for the three year European Union project empowering European EdTech ecosystems.

EmpowerED is a consortium of 11 European Partners working together to advance the EdTech ecosystem for better learning and to support closer collaboration.

EmpowerED aims to establish a pan-European network and platform for exchanges between European EdTech initiatives, support organisations, practitioners, and policymakers. EmpowerED maps the EdTech landscape in Europe, provides insight into trends linked to new schooling models and innovative education solutions, and offers training and capacity-building opportunities. The project helps consolidate and amplify current EdTech organisations' work and will directly support start-ups and SMEs. EmpowerED will create a thriving EdTech ecosystem for better learning across the EU.

The European EdTech Alliance contracted me to play a key role in achieving the community objectives - by leading the design and execution of the community strategy and ecosystem events.

Through this project, I have designed 10+ engagement formats - including the Clarifying Challenges workshop - and collaborated with partners, events and communities across Europe.
